¿Cuándo transcurrió la época de los castillos?

Hace unos 1000 años.

¿En qué trabajaba la mayoría de la gente?

En el campo. Los nobles eran dueños de las tierras y los siervos las trabajaban.

¿Cúanto dinero cobraban los siervos?

Los siervos trabajaban gratis. Sólo recibían una parte de la cosecha a cambio.

¿Quién vivía en los castillos?

Los reyes y los nobles.

¿A que se dedicaban los nobles?

Principalmente a guerrear.

¿Quién más vivía en el campo?

Los monjes y monjas vivían en los monasterios que también estaban en el campo.

¿A qué se dedicaban?

A rezar y trabajar.

¿Cómo eran las ciudades?

Pequeñas y rodeadas por una muralla. Las calles eran estrechas y sucias y había una plaza central donde estaba el ayuntamiento y a veces una catedral.

¿Cómo viajaban?

Lentamente a pie o a lomos de animales por caminos muy mal cuidados y generalmente peligrosos.

¿Quién vivía en los castillos?

Los reyes, nobles, caballeros, soldados, sus criados y sus familias.

¿Qué era el patio de armas?

El patio central donde estaban los almacenes, la herrería, los establos, la capilla o las habitaciones de los soldados.

¿Qué era la torre del homenaje?

Era la casa del señor del castillo. Allí celebraba banquetes y recibía a personas ilustres.

Diferencias entre las iglesias góticas y las iglesias románicas.

Las iglesias románicas tenían pocas ventanas y por lo tanto poca luz. Las iglesias góticas eran más altas y tenían numerosas ventanas cubiertas con vidrios de colores.

¿Para qué se utilizaban hace 1000 años la escultura y la pintura?

Para decorar y para educar a las personas.

Cambios en la navegación hace 500 años.

Aparecieron nuevos tipos de embarcaciones.

Se perfeccionaron los mapas.

Se utilizó la brújula y el astrolabio.
